Architecture: Arcosanti
Arcosanti is an experimental architectural space founded in 1970 by the Cosanti Foundation and Italian-American architect Paolo Soleri. It is a pioneering effort in Arcology, representing an early example of integrating ecology and sustainability into architecture. The goal was to create a self-sustaining community that cooperates and leaves no lasting environmental damage. Arcosanti is in Yavapai County, Arizona.
