Economic Interventions: Superflex and Relational Aesthetics by Samuel Nohe Ireland

Abstract: The economic processes of globalized capitalism are often as invisible as their effects are far-reaching. Building on the legacy of relational aesthetics, Superflex’s practice makes these economic processes and their attendant social relations visible. Employing this visibility along with relational strategies of intervention, experimentation, and participation, Superflex examines and proposes new potentialities as a critical response to the hegemony of worldwide neoliberalism.
